Tropical Style Cocktail Cabinet

 

This beautiful two-shelf vintage cabinet required some repairs but it had great bones. I wanted something "wow" and fun that would look at home in the Algarve but also provide practical display storage. Inspired by my time living in Singapore, a vibrant tropical theme was an easy choice, creating a perfect style for a cocktail cabinet. 

 

The entire piece was stripped and sanded back, cleaned and primed before applying several coats of Fusion's Picket Fence inside and out, with the vibrant tropical wallpaper decoupage applied to the back panel.  A motion sensor light is installed to allow for the cabinet to be illuminated and showcased.  The cabinet has been completely sealed with a matt water-based polyacrylic sealer for maximum protection.
