Mahogany Writing Desk with 4 Drawers and Hutch

This eye-catching writing bureau with a hutch has had the classic Statement Piece treatment! It's comprised of two pieces with a fully functional desk (with supports), four generous drawers, and a gorgeous hutch-style cabinet with fixed shelving that sits on top.  These two pieces can be used together or separately. 

 

The internal desk also has 5 small drawers and 7 correspondence pigeonholes. After extensive stripping, sanding and prepping, the exterior was hand-painted with several coats of Fusion Mineral Paint in Picket Fence with Conservatory Green on the interior.  The glorious lemons combine hand painting and furniture transfers by Iron Orchid Design.  All the original solid brass hardware was restored and the entire piece was given several coats of water-based top coat for protection and durability.
